It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts  the Management and Staff North Area Funeral Home announces the passing of a son, father, brother, uncle and friend, Mr. Alexander Leon Hamm,70, of North Charleston, SC who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.  Mr. Hamm is a veteran of the United States AirForce.  The most precious memories of Mr. Hamm will resound in the life of his children, Allen L. Simmons, Sr., Charmaine, Odessa, and Kisha, his mother, Clara E. Hamm, his siblings, Jerome Hamm (Cindi), Donna Murray (Robert), Jimmy Hamm, Shandy White (Robert), David Hamm (Sharon), Debby Johnson (Don), and Rodney Hamm, other relatives and friends are invited to attend his Walk Through on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 5:00PM-7:00PM, in the funeral home chapel.  His Celebration of Life Services on Saturday, August 17, 2024, 1:00PM, Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 1561 Mosstree Road, North Charleston, SC 29405.  Mr. Hamm will be laid to rest in Beaufort National Cemetery, in Beaufort, SC.  Arrangements entrusted to: NORTH AREA FUNERAL HOME, 4784 Gaynor Ave, N.
