I haven't really left you, even though it may seem so, I've gone to my heavenly home, and closer than you know.

It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Davis family announce the passing of Mr. Alvin Davis , of North Charleston, SC entered eternal rest on Monday, December 16, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Davis, Sr., and Elizabeth Smash Davis, three brothers, Arthur Davis, Jr., Herbert Davis, and Isiah Davis, Sr., and four sisters, Mary Francis, Shirley Davis, Irma Mitchell. and Helen McDaniel.

The most precious memories of Mr. Davis will resound in the life of his daughter, Amber McLeod, sons, Jarrett Daniel Davis, of the home, and Sean Zachary Davis, of Methuen, MA, three grandchildren, Mia, Major, and Maverick, two brothers, Rev. Dr. Albert Davis (Mary), of Charlotte, NC, and Elder Dr. Melvin Davis (Clarissa), of Charlotte, NC, two sisters, Juanita Davis Mitchell, of Franklin, LA, and Estelle Howell, of Charlotte, NC, special friend, Daniel Childs, of Warner Robbins, GA, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  A viewing will take place on Thursday, January 9, 2025,11:00 AM-Noon, in the chapel.  His Celebration of Life Service will take place on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Noon, in the chapel.
