It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Reid and Mack families announce the passing of Mr. Anthony Reid, Jr., of Charleston, SC who departed this life on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.  The beloved son of Shirley Reid Mack and the late Anthony Reid.

The most precious memories of Mr. Anthony Reid, Jr., will resound in the life of his mother, Shirley Reid Mack (step-father, Mack), those of his three sisters, Kimela Abbott (Lawrence), Shonta Smith, and Tashia Moore (Cory), of Charlotte, NC, one brother, Jason Reid, of Charleston, SC, a host of nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and beloved friends.

His Celebration of Life service will take place on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at 12:00PM, in the North Area Funeral Home Chapel. 4784 Gaynor Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406.  Mr. Anthony Reid, Jr. will be laid to rest in Hillsboro-Brown Cemetery, West Ashely, SC.  Please keep the Reid and Mack families in your prayers during their time of bereavement.
