It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home, along with the German family, announce the passing of Aubrey Lavon German, of Mt. Pleasant, SC. He peacefully departed this life on Monday, December 22, 2025. Aubrey was predeceed by his beloved grandparents, Joseph and Elizabeth German, and Alfred and Bertha Mae Alston, as well as his uncles, Joseph Bennett and Robert Jamison.

Aubrey was a loving and caring person whose passion for HVAC was matched only by his love for God, family, and friends. His dedication to his career in HVAC was a reflection of his commitment to serving others, and he took great pride in his work.  His loving smile and sense of humor could light up any room he entered, bringing joy and warmth to those around him. Aubrey's infectious smile and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone he met, and his presence will be deeply missed.  As we gather to celebrate the life of Aubrey Lavon German, let us remember the love he shared and the happiness he brought into our lives. His spirit will continue to inspire us to embrace kindness and compassion in our own lives. You will be forever remembered and cherished in our hearts.

His Celebration of Life service will take place on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 11AM, Greater Goodwill AME Church, 2817 Hwy 17 North Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466. Rev. Clinton McPherson, Pastor.  His wake service will take place on Monday December 29, 2025, 6:00PM-8:00PM, North Area Funeral Home, 4784 Gaynor Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405.   Mr. German will be laid to rest in Greater Goodwill AME Church Cemetery, 2817 Hwy 17 North, Mt.
