What You Mean

Soon after you left, I had a dream, where you tried to show me just that you mean, I saw you in the dark surrounded by a light. Although I was sad it seemed to feel right , You took my hand and showed me this light , You said it wasn't for me, but it shined so bright

It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of a daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, Mrs. Bertha M. Johnson, 75, resident of Charleston, SC who entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Johnson, and parents, James Bing, and Lily Mae Grant.  She leaves to cherish fond memories to; two loving children; Stacy Reney Johnson and Lilly Mae Johnson, five grandchildren, two siblings; Jake Grant, and James Bing Grant, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends, are invited to attend her walk through on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 5:00-7:00PM, in the funeral home chapel.  Her Celebration of Life services on Friday, March 1, 2024,12:00PM, in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Johnson will be laid to rest in Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery, 3715 Azalea Dr, North Charleston, S.C.  Due to COVID-19; everyone is required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.  Arrangements entrusted to: NORTH AREA FUNERAL HOME, 4784 Gaynor Ave, N.
