It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Doctor family announce the passing of Elder Charles Nathaniel Doctor, Sr. , who transition from labor to reward on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.  A beloved soul who touched the lives of many. A faithful servant of the Lord, dedicated member of Little Bethel Pentocostal Holiness Church, and a devoted family man. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Solomon and Virgina B. Doctor, wife of 39 years, Cathy Doctor, son, Charles Nathaniel Doctor II, sisters, Shirley Pinckney, Darlene Doctor, Cynthia Evans, brothers, Clyde Doctor and John Doctor.

The most precious memories of Elder Charles Nathaniel Doctor, Sr., will resound in the life of his wife, Evangelist Annette Doctor, six children, Misha Doctor, Robert Doctor (Tiwana) Doctor, Rachel Armstrong, Shaddrick Glover (Tonya), Alex Glover (Marlene), and Justin Glover, fourteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild,  four sisters, Mabel Livingston, Theresa Baskerville (George), Vivian Owens, and Brenda Outley (Willie), three sister in-laws, Lillian Doctor, Carolyn Simmons, Quinette Slater (Tommy), one aunt, Constance Brown, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

His Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Little Bethel Pentecostal Reformed Holiness Church, 4914 Nesbitt Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405, Bishop Dr. Aaron Elliott, Sr.,  A wake will take place on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 5:00PM-7:00PM, at Little Bethel Pentecostal Reformed Holiness Church, 4914 Nesbitt Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405.
