It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Grant family announces the passing of Mr. Charles Grant, of Charleston, SC who departed this life on Saturday, March 8, 2025. He was proceeded in death by his daughter, Jamillah Muhamma.

The most precious memories of Mr. Charles Grant , will resound in the life of his loving children; Norman McCoy, of Charleston, SC, Charles Matthew Porter, Victoria Lorriane Jordine, Troy Leslie Porter, of all Newark, NJ, Dawn Simmons, of High Point, NC, and Charles Tremayne Myers, of Charleston, SC, his grandchildren,  a devoted niece, Janice Hagler, a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. A viewing will take place on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 5:00PM-7:00PM in the funeral home chapel.  His Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 11:00AM, at North Area Funeral Home Chapel, 4784 Gaynor Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405.   Interment Private.  Please keep the Grant family in your prayers during their time of bereavement.
