It's with deep sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our uncle, cousin, and friend, Mr. Charles Grant, 97, a resident of Charleston, SC transitioned from labor to reward at his residence on Saturday July 1, 2023.   He was the beloved son of the late Julius B. Grant and Irene Grant.  He is survived by his honorary niece and caregiver, Marian Gathers, a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Charles Grant are invited to attend a walk through on Friday, July 7, 2023, in the funeral home chapel, from 6:00PM-7:00PM. His Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 12:30PM in North Area Funeral Home, 4784 Gaynor Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. Mr. Charles Grant will be laid to rest in Hillsboro Brown Cemetery, Maryville-Asheville, SC. 29406. Due to COVID-19; everyone is required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
