It's with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Charlotta Murray Broomfield, 78, a resident of North Charleston, SC who departed this life on Thursday, June 8, 2023. Mrs. Broomfield was proceeded in death by her parents; Henry and Clara Murray, one daughter, Janet V. Murray. She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted children; Rev. Carla A. Mitchell(Bishop Christopher), Carlotte Murray-Bailey (Kenneth), Barbara Washington, Georgeanna Washington, Tonya Wright, and Donna Douglas, two brothers; Henry Murray, Jr., and Robert Lee Murray, three sisters; Jane Poole, Betty Davis, and Ida Murray, other relatives and friends.

The relatives and friends of Mrs. Charlotta Murray Broomfield are invited to attend a walk through on Friday, June 16, 2023, in the funeral home chapel, from 6:00PM-8:00PM.  Her Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2023, 12 Noon, at North Palm Community Church, 7176 Bryhawke Circle, North Charleston, SC 29418.  Mrs. Broomfield will be laid to rest on Tuesday, June 20,2023 in Johnson Cemetery,  7136 Stall Road, Charleston, SC 29406.
