It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Major family announce the passing of Mr. David Major, Sr. , who peacefully departed this life on Saturday, November 1, 2025. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.   A beloved soul who touched the lives of many will be truly missed.

The most precious memories of Mr. David Major, Sr., will resound in the life of his wife, Beatrice Johnson Major, son, Carlton Lamont Pringle, Sr, stepsons, Edward Johnson, David L. Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, and Marvin Johnson, grandchildren, siblings, Earline Mazyck, and Deacon Walker E. Major, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

His Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 1 PM, Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5885 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406 Rev.
