It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Milligan family announce the passing of Deacon Josh A. Milligan who joined God's heavenly army on Friday, October 31, 2025.  A beloved soul who touched the lives of many. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, friend, and dedicated member at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

The most precious memories of Deacon Josh A. Milligan will resound in the life of his wife, Rosetta Milligan, children, Kevin D. Milligan (Shyree), Jaynette Arrington (Larry), Joshua Glover(Charlene),  Kwantrell Milligan (Randy), and Lorenzo Heatley (Keterna), grandchildren, special cousin, Deacon Ray West (Annette), a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. The family will receive guests, 423 Buck Hannon Lane, Moncks Corner, SC 29461,starting on Saturday, November 1, 2025 thru Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 2:00pm-10:00pm.

His Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 11 AM, Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 2416 Meeting Street Road, Charleston, SC 29405, Rev. Dr. Willis Glover, Sr., Pastor.  His wake services will take place on Friday, November 7, 2025, 5-7PM, at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 2416 Meeting Street Road, Charleston, SC 29405, Deacon Milligan will be laid to rest in Carolina Memorial Garden, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406.
