It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a son, father, brother, cousin, and friend, Mr. DeAngelo T. Simmons, 35, affectionally known as "Dee" of North Charleston, SC who departed this life on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.  DeAngelo will truly be missed by his family and friends, his loving smile and heart of gold.  Deangelo leaves to cherish his precious memories; his devoted parents, Mr. Maurice Hosey and Minister Katrina Simmons, his loving children, Tamari Smith, DeAsia Simmons, Da'vion Graham, and Da'Launi Graham, his caring siblings; Theral Simmons, Jessica Hosey, Shaqulia Simmons, and Ashely Simmons, grandparents; Virigina Hosey and Carolyn Simmons, aunts and uncles; Karen H. Johnson (Paul), Vanessa Hosey, Norman Hosey (Amy), Julia Dennis (Alvin. Sr.), Laquetta Simmons, and Hollings Scott (Suzanne), nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends are invited to attend his Walk Through on Friday, June 7, 2024, 6:00PM-8:00PM, in the funeral home chapel. His Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 11:00AM, Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5885 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406.
