It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Fields family regretfully announce the peaceful passing of a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and former first lady and member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Delorise "Noble" Fields of North Charleston, SC peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at home. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Rev. George W. Fields, sister, Elizabeth Edwards, and parents, Samuel Moultrie and Victoria Beaton Moultrie.
Deloris will be deeply missed and forever remembered. She lived with love and faith, placing her trust in God through every season of life. Her strength was matched by her kindness and her unwavering love for her family and friends. With a beautiful smile and a caring spirit, she brought comfort, warmth, and wisdom to those around her. Her memory will continue to inspire us, and her love will always remain. Her legacy will continue to live on through family and friends.
The most precious memories of Delorise Fields will forever resonate in the lives of her children, Nicquetta Fields, George Fields, Jr. (Robin), Ivan Fields, and Leonard Fields (Shawana), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, sisters, Catherine Swift, and Viola Moultrie, in-laws, nephew, nieces, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Monday, August 3 ,2026, at 11:00 AM, Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5885 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405., Rev. Dr. Timothy R. Simmons, Sr., Pastor. A walk-through will take place on Sunday, August 2, 2026, 5:00PM-7:00PM, Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5885 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405. Mrs. Fields will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 2915 Ashley Phosphate Road, North Charleston, SC 29418.
