It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home and the Reese family regretfully announce the peaceful passing of Missionary Diana R. Reese, of Goose Creek, SC. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and a dedicated member of New Direction Church, she peacefully departed this life on Monday, April 27, 2026, at home surrounded by family and friends.
Diana was known for her beautiful smile, kindness and care for family, friends, and the community. We mourn her loss, but we are grateful for a life filled with love, laughter, and memories we will always treasure.
The most precious memories of Missionary Diana R. Reese, will forever resonate in the lives of her loving husband, Rev. Dr. Kato Reese, children, Cornelis Reese, Candice Williams, and Uneshia Nesbitt, grandchildren, Jesse Williams III, Paris Nesbitt, Jair Williams, Pierre Nesbitt, Presley Nesbitt, and Preston Nesbitt, siblings, Cozzette Malloy, Marie Daughtry, Lonnie Rhone, and General Rhone, uncle, Jessie Mack, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, 1:00PM, Calvary Church of God in Christ, 302 Jeffs Circle, Goose Creek, SC 29445. Wake services will take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, 5:00-8:00PM, New Direction Church, 118 Rebecca Lane, Monck Corner, SC 29461. Mrs. Reese will be laid to rest on Thursday, May 7, 2026, 10:00AM, Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229.
