It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Wigfall family announces the passing of Mrs. Eartha Lee Wigfall , affectionally known as "Sista" of Summerville, SC who departed this life on Monday, April 7, 2025.  Mrs. Eartha Lee Wigfall was born August 23,1936, to Miss Annie King and Mr. Isaac Pelzer.  As the eldest of 6 children, Eartha was referred to as "Sista" by her siblings and those around her.  She was married to Moses Wigfall to this union, three children were born. Mrs. Wigfall was a faithful member of Jerusalem Baptist Church and served on the usher board.  She was proceeded in death by her parents; Issac Pelzer and Annie King, her sons; Moses Wigfall and Crawford Wigfall Sr. (Helisa), her siblings; Raymond King (Mary), Robert King, Levy King, and Shirley Washington.

She was loved by many and left a lasting impression on those who were blessed to have met her.  She found joy serving the Lord and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren.

The most precious memories of Mrs. Eartha Lee Wigfall will resound in the life of her loving daughter; Carolyn Chester (Larry), her sisters; Virginia King Watson (Jeff), Doris Farley, her brothers; Malik Majeed and John Farley (Betty), a special nephew; Tony "San" Watson (Dawn), a special niece; Juan W. Tolley, her grandchildren; Jamaal Brooks (Lena), Aisha Williams (Jamaal), Crawford "C.J" Wigfall Jr, Carlisa W. Harkley (Andre), Latrina Blakeney (James), Antwain Wigfall (Jahla), thirteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

A walk though will take place on Friday, April 11, 2024, from 10:00AM until hour of service.  Her Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11:00AM, at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 3317 Meeting Street Road, North Charleston, SC  29405.  Rev. Dr. Bernard Brown, Sr., Pastor.  Mrs. Eartha Lee Wigfall will be laid to rest in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery. Please keep the Wigfall family in your prayers during their time of bereavement.
