It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Hair and Howard families announce the passing of Mrs. Elizabeth Louise "Liz" Howard, of North Charleston, SC who departed this life on Sunday, June 29, 2025.  The beloved daughter of the Late Mr. John and Mrs. Martha Ann Hair. A loving and devoted spouse of the late Benjamin "Benji "Howard.

The most precious memories of Mrs. Elizabeth Louise "Liz" Howard will resound in the life of her children, Tonya Baker, James Hair, and Edward G, those of her grandchildren, Angel E. Baker, Semaj Hair, Anthony Hair, Ja'mes Hair, Lani Hair, Samyra Samuel, and Zenaya Wilson, her siblings, John L. Hair (Eleda), Lubertha Broomfield, Maxine Hair (John), Edward C. Hair, Aszalee H. Willis (James), Evelina Hair, Juanita Hair, and Yolanda White (Curtis), a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive guests at the home of James and Aszalee Willis, 531 East Richardson Avenue, Summerville, SC  29485 from 4:00 PM to 9:00PM.

Her Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 12:00PM, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5885 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. Rev. Dr. Timothy R.
