Though her smile is gone forever and her hand I cannot touch. I still have many memories of the one I loved so much, your memory is my keepsake, with which I'll never part. God has you in his keeping, I have you in my heart.

It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Gomez family announces the passing of Mrs. Grace Gomez, of North Charleston, SC departed this earthly life to go to her heavenly home on Saturday, January 25, 2025.

Grace will be missed dearly by family and friends, her beautiful smile and loving spirit.  The most precious memories of Ms. Grace Gomez will resound in the life of her children, Jeanette Gomez, Jose Gomez, Yolanda T. Homa, Sophia Thomas, Jurina Gomez, Kenny Gomez, Joann Canchola, and Chris Thomas, other relatives and friends.

Her Celebration of Life service will take place on February 8, 2025, 11:00AM, at Charity Missionary Baptist Church, 1544 East Montague Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405.  Mrs. Gomez will lie in state from 10:00 AM until hour of service.  Interment Private.  Arrangements entrusted to: NORTH AREA FUNERAL HOME, 4784 Gaynor Ave, N.
