You never said I'm leaving, you never said goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, and only God knew why. A million times we needed you, A million times we've cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died, in life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still, In our heart you hold a place, that no one could ever fill.

It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Hamlet family announces the passing of a son, father, brother, uncle, and friend, Isaac Hamlet, 64, of North Charleston, SC who entered eternal rest on Friday, September 6, 2024.  He will be missed dearly by family and friends. The most precious memories of Isaac Hamlet will resound in the life of his children, Issac Howard, Shakira Howard, and Kaylnn Hamlet, his siblings, John Leach (Yong Hi), Kenneth Leach (Joyce), Carl Leach (Ondrea), Raymond Leach (Marian), Bernard Leach (Charlene), Isaac Leach (Karen), Leroy Leach (Jennifer), Theodore Leach (Della), and Robert Prince, Myra Leach-Dawson (Leo), Johnnie Mae Gibson (Victor), Doretha Prince, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  A viewing will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 6:00-8:00PM in the funeral home chapel.  His Celebration of Life Services will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 11:00AM, International Longshoreman Hall, 1142 Morrison Drive, North Charleston, SC 29405.  Interment Private.   Arrangements entrusted to: NORTH AREA FUNERAL HOME, 4784 Gaynor Ave, N.
