Arkansas- Brown - Rev. Dr. Jake Brown of Camden, AK entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 . He leaves to cherish his precious memories; his loving wife; Mrs. Dolly Brown, of Camden, AR; his children; Edgar Brown (Mary) of Mt. Vernon, NY; Annette Murrell, of Charleston, SC, Jacqueline Hernandez, of Detroit, MI, three stepchildren; Gwendolyn Jackson (Thomas) of Austin, TX, James H. Calahan(Tanya), of Indianapolis, IN, and Nina Calahan-James (Blake) of Southfield, MI, six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, siblings; Thelma Swinton, of Philadelphia, PA; Rev. Betty Ford, of Charleston, SC; Margaret Brown, of New York, NY, Rebecca Holmes, of Charleston, SC, and  Andrew Brown (Geraldine), of Summerville, SC, a host of; nephews, nieces,  cousins, and friends.  He was proceeded in death by his parents; Andrew and Elizabeth Brown, two sons; Johnny Gray and Herman Green, five sisters; Eva Lawton, Cora Small, Mary Thomas, Martha Fields, and Jane Roberts; three brothers; Deacon Robert Brown, Rev. John Brown, and Deacon Clarence Brown.

The relatives and friends of Rev. Dr. Jake Brown are invited to his walk through on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 3317 Meeting Street Rd, North Charleston, SC 29405, from 6:00PM-8:00PM.  His celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2021, 10AM at Alfred Williams Community Center, 4441 Durant Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405. Rev.
