North Charleston - Simmons - Mrs. Janenettee Osorio Simmons entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 9, 2021.  She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey Simmons, her loving children; Christopher Osorio(Shonda), Regina Pixley(Horace), and Brian Brown (Quinterra), thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, her mother; Lucille T.B Robinson, her siblings; Bobbie Jean Simmons and David M. Brown, in-laws;  Anthony Simmons(Juanita), Mark Simmons, Mary Simmons ( Dec. Elias), Angela Bryant (Timothy), Antonia Simmons (Samantha), Wardina Johnson (Jerry) , and Calvin Simmons( Rochelle), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was proceeded in death by her son; Corey Osorio and father; Joseph V. Osorio.  She resided in North Charleston, South Carolina.

The relatives and friends of Mrs. Janenettee Simmons are invited to attend her walk through on Friday, July 16, 2021, from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5885 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406.  Her Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5885 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406, Rev. Dr. Timothy R. Simmons, Pastor.  She will be laid to rest in Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.  Due to COVID-19; everyone is required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.  Arrangements by NORTH AREA FUNERAL HOME, 4784 Gaynor Ave, N.
