North Charleston - Deas- Mrs. Jannie Lee Simmons Deas gained her wings on Saturday, July 17, 2021.  She was the daughter of the Late Rev. J. S. Simmons and Mary Ann Jones Simmons.  She was the beloved mother; Christopher Deas(Nya Tyami Moses), daughter-in-law; Kartika C. Deas,  her siblings; Deacon Harold Simmons, Rev. Dr. Timothy R. Simmons (Pearl), Melissa Weston, and Melinda Weston, sister-in-law; Theola Simmons grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Mrs. Deas was proceeded in death by her husband; Herbert Deas and son; Herbert Deas, Jr.

The relatives and friends of Mrs. Jannie Lee S. Deas are invited to her walk through on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5885 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406, from 5:00PM-8:00PM.  Her Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021,       11 AM at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5885 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406, Rev. Dr. Timothy R. Simmons, Pastor.  Mrs. Deas will be laid to rest in Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
