It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Jones family announce the passing of Mr. Jefferson Brown, Sr. , who peacefully departed this life on Monday, June 30. 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Brown and Henrietta Manago, his grandson, Antonio Brown, and his brother, Jonny Lee Manago.

The most precious memories of Mr. Jefferson Brown, Sr., will resound in the life of his devoted children, Theodore Brown (Betty), and Sharon Brown ( David Washington), seven grandchildren, David Mario, Roslyn, Lashawnda, Courtney, Adrian, and Whitney, fifteen great- grandchildren, Renee, Malachi, Raymond III, Rayshawn, Sonyah, Micheal, Demetrius, Kayden, Isaiah, David, London, Rinardo, Adrionna, Aydence, and Lamari, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

His Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 12:00 Noon, in North Area Funeral Home Chapel, 4784 Gaynor Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405. Rev. Dr. Joann G. Summers, Eulogist.  A viewing will take place on Friday, July 11, 2025, 6:00PM-8:00PM, in the funeral home chapel.  Interment Private.   Please keep the Brown family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
