Simmons - Mr. Jeffery "Bummy" Leroy Simmons, 64, of North Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 13, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his wife; Janenette Osorio Simmons, his parents; Leroy and Clara Simmons, sister, Geraldine Moultrie, sister-in-law, Yvonne Simmons, brother-in-law, Jerry Johnson, and father-in-law, Joseph Osorio.  He leaves to cherish his memories; his children; Brian (Quinterra) Brown, Aimee Brown, Otto(Venita) Witherspoon, Bernie Witherspoon, Christopher (Shonda) Osorio, Regina (Horace) Pixley, grandchildren, siblings; Anthony (Juanita) Simmons, Mark Simmons, Mary ( Deacon Elias) Simmons, Angelia (Timothy) Bryant, Antonia (Samantha) Simmons, Wardina Johnson and Calvin (Rochelle) Simmons; two uncles; Dec. Harold Simmons and Rev. Dr. Timothy R (Pearl) Simmons, aunt; Theola Simmons, brother-in-law; Kenneth Moultrie, mother-in-law, Lucille Robinson, one God daughter; Samone Coaxum, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dr. Timothy R. Simmons, Sr., Pastor. A Walkthrough Visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, 6:00PM-8:00PM, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5885 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406, Mr. Simmons will be laid to rest in Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
