Sumter – Holmes- Mr. John Henry Holmes, Jr., 62, of Sumter, SC entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 27, 2021.  He was the beloved son of; the Late John Henry Holmes, Sr and the Late Mary E. Lee Holmes.  John was proceeded in death by his sister; Corene M. Holmes.  John is survived by his son; Trenton Xavier Holmes, his siblings; Gwendolyn S. Holmes-Drayton (Anthony) of Sumter, SC, John Harvey Holmes (Felicia), Robert L. Holmes, Carol A. Holmes, of Charleston, SC, Christopher R. Holmes (Rebecca) of Columbia, SC, Sharnique Meyers, Desmond D. Holmes, Richard Holmes, Antonio Holmes and Leon G. Holmes of Charleston SC, his uncle; Ronald Jenkins (Yvonne) of Charleston SC, his sister through love; Amanda Skipper, his children through love; Sean Wiggins, BriShanna Davis-Holmes, J'Naudya Woodbury, Felicity Woodbury, Franklin Webb Jr. and Doretha Webb, and one granddaughter through love; Madison Holmes, along with a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
