It's with deep sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of a husband, father, friend, uncle, cousin, and friend, Mr. Jose Gomez, 86, a resident of North Charleston, SC transitioned on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at his residence. He was the beloved son of the late Jose Gomez and Carmen Longworth. Mr. Gomez was proceeded in death by his parents; Jose Gomez, Sr., and Carmen Longworth, siblings; Lance Longworth, Roy Longworth, Leonard Longworth, Gloria Longworth, and Maria Longworth.

He is survived by a devoted wife; Grace Annie Gomez, those of his children; Jeannette Gomez, Kenneth Gomez, Jurina Gomez, Christopher Thomas, Sophia Thomas, and Yolanda Thomas, one sister, Tressia Longworth, other relatives, and friends.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Jose Gomez are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 3:00PM in North Area Funeral Home Chapel, 4784 Gaynor Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406.
