It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Brown and Simmons families announce the passing of Mr. Joseph Lee Brown affectionally known as, "Joe" , who peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late William and Florence Brown-Simmons, and some siblings. A beloved soul who touched the lives of many. Joe will be missed by his family, friends, and the Ten Mile Hill Community.

A memorial service honoring the life of Joseph Lee Brown will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 1:00PM, In the North Area Funeral Home Chapel, 4784 Gaynor Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406.
