It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home and the Hudson family regretfully announce the peaceful passing of Deaconess Julia Bell Parker Hudson of North Charleston, SC.  Deaconess Hudson, a devoted mother, grandmother, and dedicated member of New Tabernacle Fourth Baptist Church, departed this life on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

She will be remembered by her family and friends for her heart of gold, unwavering faith and love for God, the wisdom she shared through life's lessons and motivational words, and the love she gave so freely.  A beautiful soul, she answered the Master's call and took his hands as he led her home on the glory train.  Today we mourn her passing, we are grateful for a life filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories that will forever remain in our hearts.

The most precious memories of Deaconess Julia Bell Parker Hudson will forever resonate in the lives of her children, Charley Hudson, Jr (Sylvia), Gail Hudson Brinkley (Vernon), Thomas Hudson (Janet), Rev. Dwight Hudson, Sr. (Angela), and Manell Hudson (Karen), grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, 11:30AM, Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 2416 Meeting Street Road, North Charleston, SC 29405.  A viewing will take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, 11:00AM-11:30AM.  Interment Private.
