It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Pendergrass and Aiken families announces the passing of Mrs. Katie Mae Pendergrass- Aiken of Ladson, SC entered eternal rest on Monday morning, December 2, 2024 peacefully at home.

Mrs. Aiken will be missed by family and friends, her beautiful smile, and loving acts of kindness to everyone she meets. The most precious memories of Mrs. Aiken will resound in the life of her devoted husband, Mr. Samuel Aiken, Sr., her loving children, Tonna Ravenel, Samuel Aiken, Jr., Ovetta Aiken, Jermaine Aiken, and Teresa Aiken, those of her siblings; James Pendergrass, Jr., Christina Gadsden, Aleisha Desline, Elaine Smith, Theresa Beaton, and Elijah Watson,  a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  A viewing will take place on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 5:00PM-7:00PM, in the funeral home chapel.  Her Celebration of Life Service will take place on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Noon, at Lovely Mountain Baptist Church, 6798 Ward Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406.  Rev.
