It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Palmer family announces the passing of Mrs. Lillie Bell Palmer, of North Charleston, SC departed this earthly life to go to her heavenly home on Monday, January 27, 2025.

The most precious memories of Mrs. Lillie Bell Palmer will resound in the life of her husband, Mr. Nathaniel Hamilton, children, Jeannette Pierce (Tyrone),  and Eugene Palmer, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, those of her siblings, Mary L. Jackson (Arthur), Cheryl Mikell (Thomas), Rhonda Lee (Herbert), Beverly Hairston, William Judge (Ethel), John Holmes, Bernard Holmes, and Frank Washington, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A wake will take place on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 5:00PM-7:00PM, in the funeral home chapel. Her Celebration of Life service will take place on Monday, February 3, 2025, 12:00PM, at North Area Funeral Home, 4784 Gaynor Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405.  Mrs. Palmer will be laid to rest in Hillsboro Brown Cemetery, Maryville-Asheville, SC.
