It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Hutchinson family announces the passing of Mrs. Mary B. Hutchinson, 87, of Charleston, SC departed this earthly life to go to her heavenly home on Saturday, January 4, 2025.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Helisa Wigfall.

Mrs. Hutchinson will truly be missed by family and friends, her favorite saying : I'm hopping, but not stopping, favorite songs, "Jesus said if you lean of me, I want let you fall" and "Jesus is the best thing that ever happen to me."  We are definitely going miss her teachings of God, heart of gold and loving spirit..

The most precious memories of Mrs. Hutchinson will resound in the life of her children, Freddie N. Belton, and J.R. Felder, granddaughter, Carlisa Wigfall Harkley, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A wake will take place on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 5:00PM-7:00PM, at Union Baptist Church, 4428 Piggly Wiggly Drive, North Charleston, SC 29405. Her Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 12 Noon, at Union Baptist Church, 4428 Piggly Wiggly Drive, North Charleston, SC 29405.  Mrs. Hutchinson will be laid to rest in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to: NORTH AREA FUNERAL HOME, 4784 Gaynor Ave, N.
