Maynard was the beloved son, father, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness, strength, and teaching of the word of God. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.  His legacy will continue to live on through his children and grandchildren. Small, of Charlotte, NC, his siblings, Reginald Brown and Jacqueline Simmons, of St. Stephen, SC, Cheryl Forney, of Charlotte, NC, Adrienne Small, of Charlotte, NC, and Lenny (Michelle) Small, of Charlotte, NC, aunts and uncles; James (Lillie) Brown of St. Stephen, SC, Henry(Teresa) Brown, of Roselle, NJ, Louis Brown, of St. Stephen, SC, and Sadie James, of Bronx, NY,  Janet Williams, of Rochester, NY, special friend, Denis Shelton, of Brooklyn, NY, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
