It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the O'Neal and King families announce the passing of Elder Melvina King O'Neal, who peacefully entered eternal rest on Monday, July 7, 2025.

The most precious memories of Elder Melvina King O'Neal will resound in the life of her loving children, Yvonne O'Neal, Latonya O'Neal, LaNette Smalls, Rhonda Mitchell, and Jarvia Tracey, five grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11:00AM, at Jehovah Jireh Family Worship Center, 5661 Old Jacksonboro Road, Ravenel, SC 29470, Apostle Clarence L. Washington, Eulogist. A viewing will take place on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 6:00PM-8:00PM, New Covenant Evangelistic Center, 1301 Remount Road, North Charleston, SC 29405.
