When I Must Leave You

When I must leave you for a little while, please do not grieve and shed wild tears, and hug your sorrow to you, through the years, but start out bravely with a gallant smile; and for my sake and in my name, and live on and do all things the same.

Porter -  It's with deep sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ms. Mildred Porter, 89, of Charleston, SC, entered enteral rest on Friday evening, January 6, 2024. She is the beloved mother of; Jerileatha "Patty" Porter, Michelle Porter, and Michael Porter (Pamela), grandmother of, Jammal Porter, Mya Singleton, C.J. Porter, Michael Porter, Christian Jones, and Jaden Bryant, sister of, Odessa Gadsden, other relatives, and friends  are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 5:00PM-8:00PM, in the funeral home chapel. Her Celebration of Service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, 11:00AM, Gethsemane Cathedral of Praise Church, 4937 Durant Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405, Bishop Robert Gathers, Jr., Pastor.   Ms. Porter will be laid to rest in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414.
