It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts; the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home and the Whaley family regretfully announce the peaceful passing of Mother Naomi M. Whaley of Bronx, New York, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully departed this life on Monday, April 20, 2026, in North Central Bronx Hospital.

She will be remembered by her family and friends for her loving and kind words, deep faith in God, and the love she shared so freely, A beautiful soul who has answered the Master's call. Though we mourn her loss, we are grateful for a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.

The most precious memories of Mother Naomi M. Whaley, will forever resonate in the lives of her children, Apostle Bernard Whaley (Robin), Deborah Z. Harrison (Victor), Otis Whaley (Betty), Victor Whaley (Betty), Anthony Whaley (Sharon), Vanessa Cox (Gerald), and Joseph Whaley (Ruby), grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, 1:00PM, Faith in Action Ministries, 2730 Gordon Street, North Charleston, SC 29405. Apostle Bernard Whaley, Pastor.  She will line in state from 12:00PM until hour of service.
