It's with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather,and friend, Mr. Nathaniel L. McCants, 70, a resident of Charleston, SC entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. He was the beloved father of; Mr. Corey Nathaniel Simmons and Ms. Lacresha Elaine Simmons.  grandfather of; Ms. Ozzie Simmons, Ms. Teshija Simmons, Ms. Danaysia Walker, Ms. Heaven Simmons, Ms. Serenity Middleton, and Ms. Winter Barnwell; great-grandfather of; Mr. Major Dawson and Mr. Carter Simmons.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Nathaniel L. McCants are invited to attend a walk through on Friday, July 7, 2023, in the funeral home chapel, from 6:00PM-8:00PM. His Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 11:00AM in Pilgrim Baptist Church, 5371 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406, Minister Irvin Middleton, Eulogist; the Rev. F. Keith Thorne, Sr. officiating. Mr. Nathaniel L. McCants will be laid to rest on Monday, July 10, 2023, in Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC 29902.  Due to COVID-19; everyone is required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
