It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Watson family announces the passing of Mrs. Odessa Jackson Watson, of Goose Creek, SC departed this earthly life to go to her heavenly home on Monday, January 27, 2025.

The most precious memories of Mrs. Odessa Jackson Watson will resound in the life of her children, Latesha Watson, Lorraine Watson, Paul Watson, and Gladys Ward, grandchildren, those of her siblings, Juluis Doctor (Barbara), William Doctor (Darlene), Ezekiel Doctor, Rose Marie Stevens, Patrica Gross-Ferguson (George), and Laverne Rivers (Rodney), a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A wake will take place on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 4:00PM-6:00PM, in the funeral home chapel. Her Celebration of Life service will take place on Monday, February 3, 2025, 11:00AM, at Royal Missionary Baptist Church,  4761 Luella Drive, North Charleston, SC 29405.  Mrs. Watson will be laid to rest in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Jedburg, SC.
