It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home and the Nesbitt, Brown, and Reese families regretfully announce the peaceful passing of Little Preston Caleb Carldell Nesbitt of North Charleston, SC. He joined the heavenly playground on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

Preston will be missed dearly by his family and friends. His smile could light up an entire room, and his love of music and dance brought joy to all who knew him. From birth until God called him home, Preston was a strong and determined soul. He was a happy, active child who kept everyone on their toes.

The most precious memories of Little Preston Caleb Carldell Nesbit t will forever resonate in the lives of his mother, Uneshia Nesbitt, father, Carldell Brown, Jr., his siblings, Jala, DeAuzhane, Vashari, Paris, Tionna, Car'Laya. Ayla, and Preslei, Zayvion, Cardell, and Pierre, grandfather, Rev. Dr. Kato Reese, and Cardell Brown, Sr. grandmothers, Georgetta Cameron (Roger), honorary grandmother, Debra Ward, aunts, uncles, other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, 1:00PM, New Direction House of Prayer, 118 Rebecca Lane, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Rev. Dr. Kato Reese, Pastor.  A viewing will take place on Friday, May 22, 2026, 6:00PM-8:00PM, New Direction House of Prayer, 118 Rebecca Lane, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.  Interment Howe Hall Cemetery.
