My child, gone too soon, your brief life a flickering candle, that lit my world before being snuffed out, I cling to memories like lifelines, your sweet smile, your joyful laugh, etched on my heart forever., your spirit lives within my sorrow, love is stronger than death, so I will carry your memory always, continue shining within me and guiding me home.

It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Rashaad Vernon Simmons, 34, of Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on Tuesday evening, May 7, 2024.  Rashaad was the beloved father of; Malaya Scott, Serenity Simmons, and Rianah Simmons, his mother, Mrs. Priscilla Simmons-Davis (William), grandmother, Mrs. Rosetta Simmons-Bryant, brothers, Dontae Simmons (Briona), Craig Brown, Jermaine Brown (Ebony), and Christopher Coaxum, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends, Mosetta Fishburne and Sharmaine Ferrell are invited to attend his walk through on Thursday, May 16, 2024, 5:00PM-7:00PM, in the funeral home chapel.  His Celebration of Life Service on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 12:00PM, AGAPE InnerCity Community Church, 4 Blake Street, Charleston, S.C. 29403.  Mr. Simmons will be laid to rest in Riverview Memorial Garden, 3715 Azalea Dr, North Charleston, SC 29405.
