It's with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Butts family announce the passing of Ret. MSgt. Percy A. Butts , of North Charleston, SC who joined the heavenly army on Sunday, December 15, 2024 .

The most precious memories of Ret. MSgt. Percy A. Butts will resound in the life of his  children, Dennis Butts (Janice), of Covington, GA, Belinda Butts-Hudson, of Conway, SC, Gary (Michelle) Butts, and Elsa Butts, of North Charleston, SC, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, four brothers; Autry Butts, Lawrence Butts, George Bunn, and William Butts, one aunt, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A  walk through will take place on Friday, December 27, 2024, 6:00PM-8:00PM, in the chapel.  His Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 1:00PM, at Victory Missionary Baptist Church, 1291 Remount Road, North Charleston, SC 294066.
