It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home, along with the Anderson family, announce the passing of Mr. Ricky Anderson, of Charleston, SC. He peacefully departed this life on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Willems and Emma Anderson.

As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the incredible legacy he leaves behind—a legacy of love, laughter, generosity, and selfless service as a handyman, plumber, and landscaper reflects a life dedicated to helping others. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will forever remain in our hearts.

His Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 12PM in the funeral home chapel.
