It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and dedicated member of Oak Grove Missionary Church, Mother Roberta Ravenell, 80, resident of North Charleston, SC transition from labor to reward on Sunday morning, February 4, 2024. She was preceded in death; by her husband, Mr. Thomas Ravenell, Sr, daughter; Patricia Ravenell, brother, Charles Middleton, and two grandchildren; Tennile Grant and Damario Ravenell. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her loving children; Ruth Spells, LaShell Ravenell, Rev. Thomas Ravenell, Altonio Ravenell, and Nicole Watson Singleton, grand-children, great-grandchildren, siblings; Bobby Middleton (Beatrice), Tommy Middleton (Gwendolyn), Audrey Middleton-Thomas (Walter), Janice Maxwell (Louis), Min. Kenneth Middleton, Calvin Middleton, Terry Zanders, and Cleveland Zanders, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The relatives and friends of Mother Roberta Ravenell are invited to attend her wake service on Friday, February 9, 2024, Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5885 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406 from 5:00PM-7:00PM. Her Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, 11:00AM, Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5885 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406, Rev. Dr. Timothy R.
