It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and a devoted and loving member of Joshua Missionary Baptist Church, Mrs. Sylvia A. Major , 63, a resident of Ladson, SC who transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, April 22, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Deacon Walker E. Major, her children: Garren M. Capers, and Curtis J. Capers, Jr., her mother, Evangelist Josephine Heyward, one granddaughter, Kelis Capers, a host of other relatives and friends.
