It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the Management and Staff of North Area Funeral Home along with the Doctor family regretfully announce the peaceful passing of a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, and faithful servant,  Elder Victoria Johnson Doctor, 98, of North Charleston, SC transition from labor to reward on October 5, 2026.

Elder Doctor was a woman of faith who encouraged her family and friends to develop and maintain a personal relationship with God. Through her love, kindness, wisdom, and devotion, she touched the lives of many and created memories that will be cherished by generations. The most precious memories of  Elder Victoria Johnson Doctor will forever resonate in the lives of her children; Kenneth Doctor, Frederick Doctor, Elder Arthur Edwin Doctor, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 11:00AM, Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 1561 Mosstree Road, North Charleston, SC 29405. A wake will take place on Friday, October 9, 2026, 6:00PM-8:00PM, Greater Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church, 1220 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403. Mrs. Doctor will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Garden, 2915 Ashely Phosphate Road, North Charleston, SC 29418.
